This opportunity is open for volunteers who are interested in delivering semi-structured sporting sessions at a city-based youth Centre. This opportunity will offer bespoke training to volunteers and will cover the costs of delivery/sports-specific training (delivered through StreetGames) safeguarding and first aid training, and a DBS check if necessary.
We require someone who would be willing to undertake training and commit to delivering sports sessions, alongside qualified youth workers, at weekly (or regular) youth centre sessions.
You may need a car or have access to public transport to reach the youth centre to deliver your session. We do not require any existing qualification as this volunteering opportunity will provide training, however an interest and passion for youth work, sport and/or physical activity is desirable.
Minimum commitment level: Once a week
