Reporting incidents


At Leicester Students’ Union we take harassment very seriously. If you have experienced harassment, either online, on campus, or in the city, please email, or come into the Student Hub on the First Floor of the SU where someone will be able to assist you.

Alternatively, you can fill in our Harassment Form.

If you have been physically assaulted, attacked or need urgent assistance please contact the emergency services on 999.

To report crime and other concerns that do not require an emergency response please call 101.

If you have been personally affected and would like further support, the following resources are available:

University Welfare Service – offer both general and specific advice on a wide range of issues including harassment, mental health and related services.

Student Counselling Service – provides confidential, face-to-face counselling, self-help resources, workshops, and advice on making choices on issues that concern you.

Safe Space Drop-In - Receive confidential, 1-1 support and signposting from a trained member of staff if you've experienced, or witnessed abuse or harassment.

NHS – information and assistance after being raped or sexually assaulted, including signposting to NHS services.

Juniper Lodge – help and support for those affected by rape and sexual assault in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, including information about how to report it to the police, access to support and counselling, and support through the reporting process.
