We're proud to say that almost everyone who begins studying at Leicester, stays here to complete their degree. Nevertheless, some students leave their University courses for lots of different reasons.
Leaving University isn't something you should do in a hurry and live to regret. Take time to consider all your options before you make a final decision.
Think carefully about why you want to leave. And what will you do instead? Do you want to leave higher education altogether? Or would you like to carry on learning but in a different Uni or by a different route?
The answers to all these questions might make a difference to what you do next. If you leave your course early, it could affect your return to higher education in the future. You also need to be clear about the financial implications of leaving.
That’s why it’s important to talk to your personal tutor before you make any final decisions. If you need more information or guidance, book an appointment with an Education Adviser. We’re here to help.
The Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) have produced a guide that you might find useful.
