We launched the concept of Equality Diversity Champions (EDC) for each department within the University.
This will be a progressive move towards increasing gender and racial equality across the University.
EDC will help identify and reduce inequality by allowing students to come together to collectively discuss and work together with their department to improve student experience for all.
Their role will be to develop and promote a safe space environment where students can speak openly.
If you wish to become an Equality Diversity Champion you will have to go through a selection process, which will involve an application form submission followed by a 15 minutes interview.
Deadline for submitting an application is 01:00 PM, 11th September 2017.
Interviews are scheduled to take place on 22nd September 2017. Successful candidates will be confirmed the following week.
