Accreditation will comprise a rewards points based system. Various activities across Students’ Union and University of Leicester will be quantified as points. There are various point thresholds which would serve as an indicator as to what level of accreditation will be awarded to any given Course Rep.
All Course Representatives are eligible for a Bronze, Silver or Gold award in recognition of their service during their term of office. The Certificate will be based upon the amount of the work, and the quality of work that each Rep undertakes.
There is a minimum requirement for this award, which will comprise :
attendance to Student Staff Committees, minimum 3,
Course Rep Training, one session
Course Rep Lunch, at least one
There will be two ways through which Silver can be attained:
Will be offered to those that succeed to evidence the impact of their involvement and can be obtained by collecting the more than 21 points and submitting a portfolio.

These are a few different ways to help you write your blog/diary/scrapbook. Firstly, reflect on how your experiences as a course rep have impacted on your employability skills. Select five different examples of specific contributions you have made as a course rep and evaluate them using the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method to structure your posts.

Situation - Explain the situation that you were in. Set the context. This should be a short description, it could be: ‘during an SSC’ or ‘whilst at a Master Class’.
Task - You need to briefly explain what it is that you had to do, and what the criteria were. If you were working as a group explain what the overall task of the group was but be clear about your own role
Action - This is the most substantial part of any example and you need to include:
Result - There is little point in explaining the situation, task and action if the employer or course provider is left wondering whether what you did made any difference. So be prepared to explain:
